or has run across any Fulton Co HUNTERs? I have a William Hunter married to
a Sarah Callahan. They had several children including my great great
grandmother Ida Belle Hunter. All the details that I know are below.

Possibly: 1880 Cass County Indiana Clinton Township p.14,ED 32.SD 5: Close
to John Mooney and Ida (Hunter) Mooney are: Alice Hunter, age 24 born in
Indiana, living with Milton Jones, son age 8, daughter Minnie age 4, and
Jasper Choen son age 1. Next to this house is William Hunter age 53 and son
William age 18, and Jasper Choen age 35. These could possibly be Ida's
sister, father and brother and their families. Check. --I am not certain
where I received the names of the children not listed in the 1860 Fulton Co
Census. Perhaps Ruth (Hammond) Husk had provided them to me.

born in IN was the mother of the deceased William Nathaniel Jones of Walton
IN. The father of the deceased was Lew Jones born IN; survivors: spouse,
sons Damon of the City; Stanton of Winamac and Frankie Davis of the City.
This may or may not be our Alice Hunter

He died on 2 Sep 1923 in New Waverly, Cass County, Indiana. Per
Pharos-Tribune: 9/4/23 John, 63, laborer residing at New Waverly was found
dead in the yard at the home of "Vet" Vanondale, a neighbor about 10 pm
Sunday night. The discovery was made by Vanondale who called neighbors.
Dr. L. L. Quick was consulted and instructed that the county coroner be
notified. Death was pronounced due to acute alcholism. Besides the widow,
Mooney is survived by three brothers Edward of Peru, Daniel of Logansport,
and Thomas of Peoria, Illinois,and two sisters Mrs. Mollie Cash of Niles,
Michigan and Mrs. Horace Galloway of this City. The funeral was held from
the New Waverly Methodist church this afternoon. Burial took place in teh
Ioof Cemetery there. He was buried on 4 Sep 1923 in IOOF Cemetery, New
Waverly, Cass County, Indiana. Per Kroeger & Pfohl (Logansport) John's
service was at the Methodist Church on Sept.4, 1923 (New Wav) Ida Belle
