I would recommend a trip to the Rochester/Fulton County Library first and then the museum.
The library's available works are amazing.

If you are coming from a distance I would plan a side trip to Fort Wayne where one of the
largest genealogical collections in the US resides at the Allen County Public library.

There is a Fulton County Museum (relatively small) that
has a lot of genealogy info located on US 31

If I get to Rochester.... I'd like to "prepare" for the trip. What kinds
of info might one find at the Museum? Is the Museum open weekdays? Do
they have a website or email address?
Thanks for any helpful info.
