Married by Rev. WARRINER.
CHARLES L. COLLINGWOOD, son of Mr. and Mrs. JOSEPH COLLINGWOOD of Pendleton,
Ind., and Miss IVA HATFIELD, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. LORING W. HATFIELD of
Talma were married at the Methodist parsonage at 11 o'clock this morning.
The young couple left imediately for Chicago, where they will spend several
days. They will be at home after October 1, at Idaville where he is a
teacher in the schools. #
St. Paul's Class Entertained
The officers, ED R. VAWTER, A.L. CARTER, WM. H. BIDDINGER and OMAR D. HAGAN
entertained the members of the St. Paul's class of the Evangelical church at
the home of the latter on West Seventh St. Friday evening. A business
meeting was held, after which a melon feast was enjoyed. An exceptionally
large number was present. #
Entertains Sunshine Club
Mrs. JOHN SHELTON entertained the members of the Sunshine club at her home on
West Ninth street, Friday evening in honor of Mrs. WILLIAM SHELTON of
Chicago. Refreshments were served. #
Entertain at Dinner
Mr. and Mrs. W.O. KILMER entertained the following guests at dinner Friday
evening, Mr. and Mrs. BRUCE LOVE, Mrs. and Mrs. ROY LOVE, and Mr. and Mrs.
LEE REED. #
To Resume Meetings
The Zota club will resume their weekly meetings next week. They will be
entertained my Miss MARY WILDER, South Main street, on Wednesday evening.

Miss ERMA WAGONER went today to Mentone for an over Sunday visit with friends.
ALFRED and Miss EDITH ROBBINS, Miss ANNABELLE VIERS and BRACKETT SHELTON
motored Friday evening to Peru.
DONALD LEITER went today to Colubia City to spend the week-end with friends.
Mrs. FRED RANNELLS and Mrs. HARRY BITTERS visited Mrs. LOUIS BAILEY at
Leiters Friday.
EDWARD PFEIFFER went today to Bloomington where he will enter Indiana
University.
FRED ALEXANDER went today to Elkhart where he will visit with his parents,
for a few days.
Mr. and Mrs. JOHN HOLMAN returned Friday evening from a motortrip thru
northern Michigan.
Mr. and Mrs. GEORGE McMILLAN went today to McMinnville, Tenn., where they may
possibly relocate.
Mrs. CORDELIA NAFE returned today to her home in Muskegon after a short visit
with Rochester friends.
GLENN STEWART, who spent the past few days in Rochester, returned today to
his home in Laporte.
MARTHA LOUISE, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L.B. WALTERS, is seriously ill
with cholera infantum.
Mrs. J.F. SEIGFRIED went today to Kokomo for a short visit with her brother,
GRANT WALLER and family.
Mrs. HUGH HOLMAN and children returned from Sioux Falls, S.D. where they
spent the summer with relatives.
Mrs. MILO BRYANT and son MAX went today to Michigan City to spend the
week-end with friends and relatives.
RANSOM DULL, SARD ROBBINS, HARVEY CLARY and FRANK MARSH motored to South Bend
Friday and attended the fair.
Mr. and Mrs. C.E. McLAUGHLIN have returned to their home in Indianapolis
after spending the past week in Rochester.
GRANT JOHNSON, who spent the past week with his brother, R.C. JOHNSON,
returned today to his home in Carmel.
Mr. and Mrs. CHARLES EMMONS went today to South Bend. They will visit her
sister as Ashley before returning home.
Mrs. W. H. TOWNSEND has returned to her home in Indianapolis after spending
the past few days in Rochester.
Mrs. ANNA NELLANS, who spent the past week with Mr. and Mrs. C. N. BAILEY
returned today to her home in Indianapolis.
Mrs. MYRTLE BARRETT, who spent the past few days with Rochester relatives,
returned today to her home in Niles, Michigan.
JOHN BARRETT, EDWARD PERSCHBACHER and the Misses CLARA MAE ROBBINS and LUCY
and GRACE TRUE motored to Logansport Friday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. C. E. KUHN, who spent the past few days in Rochester with Mr.
and Mrs. ALBERT McKEE, returned today to their home in South Bend.
LEE COLE has returned to his home in Mason City, Ia., after spending some
time in Rochester with his son, MAURICE, and his mother-in-law, Mrs. NANCY
MEYER.
Mr. and Mrs. WYLIE BONINE and family and HENRY ENTSMINGER motored today to
Niles, Michigan, where they will spend the week-end with relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. J. L. ROBBINS, Mrs. BEN OLIVER, and Mrs. ELIZABETH MILLER
motored to Peru Friday to meet Mrs. NANCY BELL, 84, of Canton, Ohio, an old
friend whom they had not seen for 40 years.
Mrs. JOHN SHELTON went Saturday to Bloomington where she will meet Mr.
SHELTON, and daughter LOUISE, on their return trip from Tennessee where they
spent the past few weeks, and motor home with them.
