There is a reference book at the Fulton County of cemetery inscriptions
written by the Tombaugh family. The cemetery in question is located in Wayne
Twp I believe. I recently looked at this book for you but there are probably
15-20 Beattie's listed. Do you have first names to help narrow the search
down? If you are coming to Fulton County in the future maybe a stop at the
library will be of great assistance in locating the graves. This book also
tells you what section, row and grave # they are in. There is also a series
of books on obituaries taken from the local newspapers in Rochester. They go
back to the mid 1850's or so. Hope this helps.

Thanks Joe Richardson for the directions to the Fletcher Lake
Cemetery, it
is
appreciated.
Will you tell me the condition of this cemetery, has the grass been
mowed, is there poison ivy or briers. Will I need to wear boots and long
sleeves? Is most of the cemetery shaded or in the sun?
How many tombstone would you guess are there?
Do you remember any of the names on the tombstones? I am looking
especially for the family of Beattie.
Thank you,
J. A.
