Hello there,
My husband is a descendant of John Foster, who is buried at Wolf Creek Cemetery in
Franklin County. Looking for documentation of his likely connection to Thomas Foster of
Dearborn County. Both were from New Sewickley, Beaver, PA. Research points to the fact
that the Fosters, Hunters, and Funkhousers left PA and went to southern IN together. Many
Dearborn and Ripley County land patents were issued to these Fosters.
Also wondering how Chilon Foster of Franklin County was possibly related to our John
Foster.
Thomas' granddaughter, whose father was James Foster, is also buried in Wolf Creek
Cemetery, so there is likely a connection between Thomas and John. The question is, what
exactly was it?
Would you please share your diary about Brookville? diverspohn(a)aol.com
Very best,
Monica Spohn
