Katrina,
The index for the 1882 atlas shows J & A Welsh (landowners) in Springfield Twp, Sec 1
and Sec 2. I don't have a copy for Springfield but the library at Brookville does.
The Franklin Co rootsweb site you found has a cemetery listing. And a burial listing, you
can search by last name for Welsh/Welch. The cemetery records are incomplete.
The library also has the 1867 atlas (I have some copies, but not all of Springfield).
Also check out
findagrave.com. it's a growing site for folks to submit info on
graves.
Keep looking! Franklin Co has done a great job of putting records together and online.
Good luck!
Diane

Hello, I got your email off of the Franklin County Rootsweb site. I am researching the
Welch Family, and am having a hard time finding information. What kind of records do you
guys hold?
I am searching for James and Anna Welch, I know they either lived in Ohio, or in Franklin
County. One of their sons is Buried in Springfield Cemetery near Bath, IN. (Thomas M.
Welch) I know the Welch Family was Catholic, so maybe there are churches with records?
If you can offer any help, it would be greatly greatly appreciated!
Thanks so much!
Katrina Welch
