We are confident that the Whitney Cemetery listing is this one here...
http://members.tripod.com/~z7760/Highland.htm#Abandoned Cemetery
It was listed as Abandoned at the Indiana State Library but we feel
confident it is it. Now we have to find it....We are torn between Highland
and Whitewater Townships...

We were hoping to find a record of the burial site of David W. Masters
who died in the Civil War, Jan 1864. There were several Masters
families in Franklin Co. They arrived ca. 1833. I found several in
censuses for 1850, 1860, 1880. Aaron m. Cynthia were in our line.
Their sons were David W., Quincy Adams, Winfield Scott, James Madison,
Lewis Clark. One daughter Mary Kerling Masters. Aarons sp. 2 Mary Ann
Erb. Child of this marriage Allen Willis Masters. Cynthia d. Dec. 31,
1858. Thank you for all your work in cemetery locations. We do
appreciate the hours it takes.
The Masters were a religious family if that could be a clue.
