Randy,
The bottom line: All of us who have benefited from your contributions
owe you a big debt of gratitude.
Thank you.
You will be sorely missed.

Subject: [INFRANKLI-L] HERE GOES :o(
I have given this much thought over the last two weeks and I have
decided
with regret to give the Franklin County Genealogy Website up for
adoption.
I do this with terrible regret, as I feel I cannot devote the proper
amount
of time to keep the website updated and fresh for genealogists
around the
world.
Since I took over the website in August of 1997 we have recorded
over 26,000
hits and received a number of compliments about the website and
every great
compliment was cherished by myself and gave my the incentive to
continue on.
I now am personally living a dream....a dream of being a
professional
wrestler. It may sound strange, but I have always been interested
in the
business. Combine that with my 40-hour a week job at the radio
station here
in Connersville and working 1-day a week at Wal~Mart. I am
wrestling/working a wrestling show two nights a week. So as you can
see it
does not allow enough time, or the amount of time I would like to
spend on
keeping the site going.
I am sure there is someone out there, better and more versed at
building a
website that can take the Franklin County Genealogy Website the next
step
forward.
I will be glad to watch over the website til a suitable replacement
is found
and I will also be glad to help with the transformation of power to
the next
county coordinator and answer any questions they may have.
Betty, thanks for all of your time and help as a state coordinator.
I know
the last couple of years have not been personally good for you, but
you have
done one heck of a job.
To all on the Franklin County Discussion List, you all know how
stagnant the
website has become in the last few months. It is just the right
time.
Thanks to all
