okay....not much happening on the list of late so it is time for a major
update....
Let's see...we are closing in on 120 members to our e-mail discussion
list for Franklin County....so if you are a new member to the list, we
would like to see you post the surnames from Franklin County you are
researching and if anyone else wants to throw a reminder out, please do
so...
Not alot happening with the website. I am now working 2 jobs, 60 hours
a week. I just returned full time to the Connersville radio station
while I am still working at Wal~Mart, so as you can see my table is
full. I will add things as I can and as time permits. I do want to
thank those who have donated information to the website. The most
recent addition is the Jerome Wiley Diary from Harold Clupper in
Pennsylvania. Makes for some interesting reading, especially if you
have family from Northwestern Franklin County. Harold put in alot of
hours on the diary and we tip our cap to him.
If anyone has info they would like to get linked to from our website
that pertains to Franklin County just let me know. Also looking for
more pictures for the Faces of History page.
Charlotte Babicki from Canada sent along a nice note for a lookup offer
in a book she has....
----------
I have a booklet called James Wood Family Record, which includes 1
family who lived by Stipp's Hill, Franklin Co IN. I would be happy to do
lookups in the booklet.
----------
Her e-mail address is babick@gov.nt.ca.....Thanks to her for the lookup
offer and as always I will give first shot to those on this list before
posting it to the website.
Finally if anyone has suggestions or comments, please feel free to drop
me a note (good or bad) we would like to hear from you. The cemetery
listing is going slow during the summer, but hopefult by the end of the
year we will have that knocked out....naturalization records are still
in the works and I am now 4-weeks behind on posting obituaries....
If anyone is within ear shot....I am on the air of W-I-F-E radio in
Connersville from 2-7pm Monday thru Friday and if you are going to be at
the Franklin County Fair I will be there from 6-9pm tonight (Thursday
Night) so look me up and say hi...
Thanks one and all for your support..
