Thank you for the answer to Quaker's fighting in wars and also for the tip
about not referring to Quaker documents when applying for the DAR. I guess
old dogs can learn new tricks after all, especially when there are so many
wonderful and good people to teach them!

No, they did not. However, some did fight in the RW, but were rejected
by the members. Have some in my family too.
Word of advice: If applying for DAR, avoid Quaker documents whenever
possible. Red flags go up & it takes longer to get verified. -Donna
