Greetings!
I'm new to this list.
My research is on the HAVERKOS, MOLLAUN, TEKULVE
families & associated surnames.
Anthony MOLLAUN came to Oldenburg, IN around 1845
from Hanover, Germany. He may have been in Cincinnati
before relocating to Ray Twp., Ripley Co., IN. That's my
MOLLAUN riddle. There is an ANTON MOLLAUN who came
to Indiana after the 1850 census, but my Anthony was
in the Ray Twp. 1850 census with a son b. in IN about 1846.
Immmigration data from Ancestry, but perhaps a mistake
was made.
Any advice on where to find naturalization records? Would
those records be in Brookeville?
One of his descendants, Alphonse MOLLAUN, b. 1922,
married Jean Helen TEKULVE.
The parents of ALPHONSE were Joseph G. MOLLAUN &
Josephine HAVERKOS. Both were born in Indiana. Josephine's
mother may have been born in Iowa, but her father was
from IN. Odd that her mother's family migrated East instead
of West.
Best Wishes,
Donna
