Marilyn, try to get a copy of the 1882 Atlas of Franklin Co. I only
saw
it once when I was in Franklin Co. library, but I remember it said quite a
bit about the land, the Indians etc. A few years ago someone on this list
was selling them again. I couldn't afford it, but see if someone has a
copy.
