Hi Jill,
Just a word of warning, I recently tried one of Ancestry.com's
free
14 day trial offers. After 11 days I called and cancelled the
order. .... The day after my trial period was up,
Ancestry.com
charged my credit card for $99.95. I tried emailing their
customer service department but was given the run-around. ....
.... I am still waiting for the credit to my account.
I've heard of numerous people having problems getting the service
cancelled. I decided not to mess with the 14 day trial offer because I
had little intention of continuing after the free period. If a person
wants to check out
Ancestry.com but isn't pretty they want to continue
the subscription, I'd say it isn't worth the hassle.
Linda
