Anyone researching in Fountain County, IN, should check out the new West
Central Indiana Research Library at 405 North Mill Street Veedersburg. It
is in the restored d'Arlier Center and has quickly acquired a lot of
Fountain County information. Hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday,
Saturday and Monday. Other times by appointment - check the Fountain Co
GenWeb for more information.
This library is a project of the Fountain County Genealogy Society, Inc.

Subject: [INFOUNTA] Best Place for Research-Fountain Co
Hello List,
I will be visiting Fountain Co next month. Could someone please advise
where the
best place to do research is?
I am trying to find information on the Levi and Margaret LIVENGOOD family.
They had
7 children born in Fountain Co from 1838 to 1850 that I know of. I
do know they were in Jackson and Covington townships for at least part of
that time.
Thanks for your assistance!
