Watt was born Nov 3, 1860 and departed this life Nov 13, 1927. She was the
last of her father's famiy. She grew to womanhood in the community where
she was born and was converted in her girlhood days and joined the Pleas.
Grove Church under the ministery of Rev. JT Phillips. SHe was united in marr
to J.M. Lewis to this union was born two daughters, Ivy Ann and Maude Glenn,
and the granddau Ulela Glynn Cory who with the husb. live to mourn the loss
of a loving wife and mother. They spent their entire married life in this
community with the exception of 18 months spent in Kansas. She lived a true
Christ life and was a sincere and tireless worker in the Church and the Aid.
in later years whe moved her membership to the United Breth. Church of
Kingman of which she was a member at the time of her dath. She bore her
sickness with much patience and realizing that Death was not far off several
times she expressed herself as being ready when ever the time should come
and on the morning of Nov 13 she entered that beautiful Rest.

Taken from scrapbook of Grace Newnum: Aaron A. MASSEY, son of Alonzo and
Martha Massey was born in Fountain County, Indiana on April 22, 1873 and
departed this life at the City Hospital of Indianapolis, IN on July 20, 1920
age 47 Y 2M 28D. After reaching maturity he spent most of his life in the
south where he was married. He leaves surviving him one sister, Mary A.
Newnum, and 3 brothers, William R. Massey, Perry Massey and Elijah Massey
all of Fountain Co , IN and a number of other relatives and friends. His
wife, mother, father and one brother having preceded him in death. Funeral
services were held at Centennial Thursday, July 22, at 2:30 oclock conductec
by Rev. JB Newnum.

Mrs. Elizabeth Powell (sic - should be Towell) McCOY of Park (sic) County,
died Sunday. She was 105 years old August 15 last, having been born in
Orange Co., NC August 15, 1811. She lived with her daughter, Mrs. Rachel
Marks near Sylvania, Liberty Township for years. On the occasion of the
celebration of Mrs. McCoy's one hundredth anniversary (sic), more than 500
relatives and friends gathered to pay her honor. Until recently she was
active enough to move about the house, but devoted most of her energies to
making quilts. She made and gave to her descendants more than 40 quilts.
One recently made by her was exhibited at Centennial Celebration of Liberty
Township in August. Her last illness was of short duration, following a
fall in which her hip was fractured. - Taken from Grace Newnum's

Taken from Scrapbook of Grace Newnum -- THurman Ray Nolan, son of Tobias and
Elizabeth Nolan was born Feb 27, 1888 at their home 3 miles E. of Kingman,
Indiana. He grew to manhood in this community where he had a host of
friends. The past few years he has spent away where he had employment in
different states. On June 12, 1918 he was united in marriage to Miss Mary
Burroughs at Little Rock, Arkansas. He was taken ill at his home in Chicago
Illinois where he passed away Aug 27, 1926 at 2:20 p.m. The body was brought
to the home of his sister Mrs. Clara Gant where the funeral was held, being
conducted by Rev. Levi Woody, interment at the Zackmire cemetery. He leaves
to mourn his going his devote wife, five borthers and four sisters anda host
of other relatives and friends. His last visit to his home here was two
years ago when he and his wife came to care for his father in his last
illness which he did faithfully and tenderly.
