I wonder what is significant about the other date? Perhaps he came with his
parents and it's THAT Crain who died. Very interseting ! I can't imagine
they came up with that date out of thin air. Perhaps his wife's date ?

I was in error on the death date of William Sawyer Crain's death
date
by one day. It was June 9, 1877 according to his gravestone. I will
