Crawfordsville Review Fri May19, 1916 p 4-Danville, Ill May 17 - Jessie Virgil Dodson,
daughter of Mrs. Edwin Vickery 314 Alexander Street passed away yesterday afternoon May 17
1916 at 1 o'clock at the home of her mother after suffering the past two years from
the dreaded great white plague. Miss Dodson was born near Kingman Ind May 13, 1890 and
lived there for a number of years after which she moved with her parents to Cayuga, Ind.
She attended the public schools of that place but was forced to discontinue her studies
early on account of ill health. She came with her mother to this city 10 years ago and
made her home here since that time. She leaves to mourn her death, besides a host of
relatives and friends a sister, Lucile Vickery and a kind and loving mother and stepfather
Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Vickery. The funeral services will be held from the home Friday
afternoon at 2:30 and will be in charge of Rev. TA Adams. Interment will be made in
Springhill Cemetery.
