Hello Karen,
I thought the Wrightsman obituary sounded familiar. His wife was my
grandfather's cousin. Upon looking through my files, I found the obituary for his
wife, Louise. I do not have a source for this obituary, but assume it is the
Crawfordsville paper.
I don't know if you are interested, but feel free to post this to the list if you

Louise Walls, 52, Dies in Hospital
Mrs. Louise E. Walls, 52, 1006 E. Chestnut St., died at Culver Hospital
Thursday morning. She had been a patient there for a week.
The daughter of Amos and Lizzie Burnison Martin, she was born July 22, 1911 in
Fountain County, north of Covington.
Her first marriage was to Loren Wrightsman, who died in 1937. She later
married Marion R. Walls on February 15, 1941, in Rockville. They lived in Covington
before coming to Crawfordsville in 1948.
Mrs. Walls was educated in Fountain County grade schools and Covington High
School. She had been employed at the Harris Packing Co. in Crawfordsville.
She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
Surviving are her husband; her mother; nine daughters, Mrs. Ray Baker, Mrs.
Max Melvin, Mrs. Jack Hatley and Mrs. Dan Zachary, all of Crawfordsville, Mrs. Don Fuller,
New Market and Carol Ann, Janice, Joyce, and Melissa all at home; six sons, Loren
Wrightsman, Attica, and John Thomas Walls, Don Robert Walls, Marion Daniel Walls, David
Walls, and Steven Walls all at home.
Other survivors are a brother, William Martin, Covington; three sisters, Mrs.
Jack Albrich, the Philippines, Mrs. Raymond Sisk, State Line, and Mrs. Dean Shumaker, Rt.
3 Covington and two aunts.
She was preceded in death by a daughter and a son.
Funeral services will be held at the Assembly of God Church on East Wabash
Avenue at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, with Rev. John E. Smith in charge. Burial will be in the
Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the Bright Funeral Home after Friday noon.
