Wilbert F. Hesser, 75, a farmer in Montgomery and Fountain counties most of his life, died
Tuesday morning in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. His death was believed to have been
hastened by injuries he suffered in an auto accident several weeks ago. Born Nov. 18,
1882, near Linden, Mr. Hesser was the son of Abraham and Sarah Jane Armantrout Hesser. He
married Ethelyn Powell in July 1904. He was a member of the Wallace Christian Church and
Wallace Masonic Lodge 495. The family home is one and one-half miles east of Wallace.
Surviving are the widow; four sons, N. Glenn and Kenneth Hesser, both of Indianapolis;
Forrest Hesser of near Hillsboro, and Harold Mike Hesser of Crawfordsville; a daughter,
Mrs. Mildred Disney of Indianapolis; five grandsons and two granddaughters. He was
preceded in death by a son, Orville Hesser; a daughter, Wilberta Hesser, and two
brothers. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Hunt and Son Funeral
Home at Crawfordsville. Burial will be at the Pisgah Cemetery near Beckville. Rev. Noble
Carothers will be the officiating minister. Friends may call at the funeral home.
