Crawfordsville Journal Review 18-Oct-1952 p3 -- John Teeguarden, 48, died Friday night at
his home in Veedersburg following a serious illness of several months. Mr. Teeguarden was
a stationary fireman at the Indiana Condensed Milk Company. He was born Aug 6, 1904 at
Kirkpatrick, Ind the son of Francis and Mary Timmons Teegaurden. He was married March 8,
1925 to Irene Tibbett and moved to Veedersburg 20 years ago. Survivors include his wife;
two sons, Max at home and Marion with the Army in Germany; a daughter, Mrs Marilyn Taylor
of Veedersburg; 3 brothers, Ray, Lon and Ross all of Frankfort; two sisters, Mrs.
Elizabeth Howard of East Moline, Ill and Mrs. Susan Obenchain of Indianapois and one
granddaughter. He was a member of the Methodist Church and Moose Lodge 1001 of Danville.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Veedersburg methodist Church
with Rev. Roy Wilson officiating. Burial was in the Rockfield Cemetery with the Fishero
Funeral Home in charge.
