Nace Morris, 57 was fatally crushed when caught by a crane while at work at the Neal Grave
Co west of Covington Wed afternoon at 2:45 o'clock. According to Dr. James
Crane,Warren Co coroer, Morris was appaently reahcing under the crqane when it was turned,
catching him by the left hand and arm and dragging him into the machinery. Death was
thought o have been instantaneous. An employee of the company 25 yeares, Morris was known
as a careful worker. Born Oct 3, 1895 in Covington he was the son of Riley & Cora
Remster Morris. He was a veteran of WWI serving overseas with the US Army for 21 months.
He is survied by his mother and three brothers, James L, Leslie W. and Max D, all of
Covington, and with whom he made his home. Two sisters, Mrs. Goldie L. Cranmore, Indiana
and Mrs. Pearl Simpson, Ft. Lauderdale Fla also survive. Funeral services have been
tentantively set for 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon from Bodine & Sheby Funeral
Home Rev. Elwood Anderson will officiate and burial will be Prescott Cem north of
Covington
