Crawfordsville Journal Review 18-Nov-1970 p 4- Cates - Clara Marie Woolwine, 45, a
resident here 29 years died at 11:40 a.m. Tuesday in Lakeview Hospital at Danville, Ill
where she had been a patient six days. She had been ill six weeks. A daughter of Harley
& Alethia Brown Bean she was born June 18, 1925 in Vermillino County. She was reared
in Tangier and was a member of the Cates United Methodist Church. Surviving are her
husband, Curtis Woolwine to whom she married Nov 4, 1941; her mother in Crawfordsville;
two sons, James M. and Harley Wayne Woolwine and two daughters Anna Marie and Margaret
Alice Woolwine all at home; two grandchildren, four brothers, Francis of New Castle; Max
and Ernest of Crawfordsville and John H of Bosworth, MO; and a sister, Mrs. Gecka Jean
Bean of Crawfordsville. Her father and a sister are deceased. Funeral services will be
conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home at Covington where friends
may call Thursday afternoon and evening. Burail will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Rev. Larry
Millan will officiate.
