Harold M. Hays
Harold M. Hays, 78, who lived and farmed in the Wingate area
from 1920 until retiring in 1970, died at 4:49 a.m. Wednesday in the emergency
room at Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville.
He was born April 27, 1908, in Homer, Ill. He attended Wingate High School and resided
at Route 1, Wingate.
He was married dec. 27, 1944, in Muncie, to Helen F. Fraker
of Forest. She survives.
He was a member of New Hope Chapel Church of Wingate and
Coal Creek Township Farm Bureau.
Surviving are a brother, Lawrence Hays, and one sister,
Helen Allhands, both of Wingate; an aunt, Mrs. Almyra Larrabee, Crawfordsville,
and several cousins.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today (Friday) at Thomas
Funeral Home, Waybetown. Funeral
services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Thomas Chapel with the Rev.
Harry Randolph officiating. Burial will
be in the Green Lawn Cemetery, Wingate.
