Not sure if you ever received an answer to this - know it's been a long
time but was trying to clean-off old e-mails and came across it.
Imagine this is the Old Attica Cemetery --
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&CRid=1148794&CSc...
If that findagrave link doesn't work - go and type that in as an indiana
- fountain county search. Samuel is not listed there but the cemetery
is not in great repair or not last time I was there anyway. However,
you might want to check the names there to see if he was associated with
any of the ones buried there - mostly in the 1840-early 70s - in his
time frame
If you've not had a query answer to this maybe this will help - if you
have probably a better answer plus I'm also sorry I didn't catch this
the first time - THANKS and again sorry

I found Samuel A. Jackson listed in Civil War Veterans Headstone file
with
the following information. Staffmaster Co. C, Regt. 72, Ind. Inf.
Cemetery: Village, City: Attica, Fountain, Ind.
Died Mar. 24, 1872.
Headstone supplied by D.W. Whitney, contract date:Nov., 29, 1879
Anyone know the name of the cemetery listed as Village in Attica or any
additional information on his burial?
