I know the feeling working with a SMITH, but best bet would be to check the
wills and probates in Washington County and the 1830 census of Smiths with a
female child -5. Good luck with that. Sorry I can't help - have LOTS Of
Fountain Co people but not them. I searched for my Simeon Smith for 23
years but FINALLY cracked it & that's where my Tutor Kings & Queens come
from (about 14 of 'em) -- keep working HARD -- you'll get it eventually

Subject: [InFounta] Lydia Elizabeth Smith Cronk
I am writing to ask if anyone has any information on my husband's g
grandmother Lydia Elizabeth Smith. She was born in 1826 in Washington
Indiana, wed William Harrison Cronk on 10/12/1846 in Salem Washington
Indiana. The family eventually moved to Fountain County and Lydia died in
Fountain County perhaps of TB on 6/22/1875.
Thanking you in advance,
Beverly Cronk
