Ruth & All,
Jay (my son who had the bad motorcycle wreck) is doing pretty good. He
flew off when hitting the back end of a gal's car he thought was going
out onto the interstate but she slowed or stopped instead -- rolled
10-12 times on the pavement knew he'd be hit by a car if he didn't keep
going and landed in the side ditch. A couple of people stopped
immediately and helped him and he spent some time in the hospital coming
home with three of his four limbs bandaged/casted/ and the other one was
bummed up some. Three teeth broken out but other than that, his helmet
saved his head - thank the Good Lord. Two weeks more in a sling for his
dislocated shoulder - most of his cuts, bruises and road burns have
healed (it was a week ago today). He has a walking cast on his broken
ankle; his thumb & small finger area all pretty well okay so he SAYS
(dad & I are agin it :) he's going back to work tomorrow. We traded him
cars so he can have an automatic - guess it's okay with the wife, so
he's going back. Thanks so very much for all the prayers & good wishes
- he's a tough cookie.
