Crawfordsville Journal Review 5-Mar-1963 3- Minnie Fulwider Dies Suddenly At Her Home
Here- Mrs. Minnie Fulwider, 73, of 305 S. Green St., died suddenly at her home at 8:30
p.m. Monday. She was born Jan 2, 1890, near Independence, Kan., the daughter of Andrew and
Hannah May Cooper. She married Edgar Fulwider March 5, 1914 at Rockville. Mr. and Mrs.
Fulwider would have celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary Tuesday. Mrs. Fulwider’s
parents died during her childhood and she was reared in the home of an uncle, John May, at
Marshall. She also lived at Spiceland for a period of time and attended school at Marshall
and Spiceland. Mr. and Mrs. Fulwider started housekeeping on a farm near Marshall. They
came to this city in 1943. Mr. Fulwider managed the Palmer Apartments 10 years. Survivors
include the husband; two daughters, Mrs. Edward Spitznagel of Rt. 6 and Mrs. Richard
Edging of Indianapolis; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a
daughter and two sons. The body is at Bright’s Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are
incomplete.
