*The post office at Hillsboro, Ind., was attacked, last Friday night by
four drunken rowdies who had taken offense at the postmaster, with clubs
and stones. The P.M. emptied his little pistol into the crowd, wounding
one or two of his assailants slightly and driving them off. Three of the
party have been arrested on a charge of assault with intent to kill.
Ginny A sent this and I just wondered if we'd like to have a trivia

that have been added. Thank you,

Okay, mine is real this time - check out the Brick Wall and PLEASE send
some my way -- I'll try to get 'em this evening after I get home from
eating with sis-bro-in-law :) THis should be FUN, interesting and above
all (hopefully) helpful :)
http://ingenweb.org/infountain/research-help/brick-wall.htm
Ya' just convinced me Barbara -- let's start a brick wall -- I'll see
what I can do with it later this evening and in the meantime anyone
wanting to send me a paragraph (I'll write something below that will be
fake but an example okay) explaining their Fountain County, Indiana
BRICK WALL -- PLEASE DO SO :)
The Otterman family in Fountain County is my brick wall. William
Otterman was born in Virginia about 1820 and came to Fountain about
1833. Where in Virginia did William Otterman live? When specifically
did he arrive in Fountain? His wife's name was Mary J (assume Jane) but
do not know maiden name. HELP!
Sound good? Something like that - name the family (a specific one if
you have it) and where the brick wall is !! Should be fun!
no we haven't. Small world isn't it? I grew up in Attica but now live in
Phoenix.

OH that's a GREAT idea Adina - where did they go -- my Sowers left --
only one child stayed in Fountain - the father and rest of kids went to
Iowa then Kansas (or whichever is first - I'm bad at locations :) -
GREAT idea - hmmm, I'll think on that one too if you don't mind.

Okay, while on a INGenWeb committee I was surfing other places and found
something I really liked but now, I'm having second thoughts (only have
3 - check R & W so far). I don't want to leave someone out - not sure
of criteria -- but I just thought it was nifty - also saw something
called "Brick Walls" (for Fountain of course if I were to tackle that)
where you write in a problem where you are stuck on someone in the county.
So, question 1:
Do you think Who's Who in Fountain County is a good idea - if so,
suggestions on who to include?
Question #2:
Do you think the Brick Walls of Fountain County would be good -- if so,
anyone going to give me any to put up there???
Could be but "she had lived in Attica about 5 years" seems funny she'd
be in Anderson - it's quite a ways away. You did give me the idea to
look on our own Fountain GenWeb page in the deaths and I'd say IF this
gal were a tad older she'd definitely be it - shucks, I don't know

Have added several marriages especially ones from Bonnie H. and some
from Betty D -- to date have 2,527 - the goal was to make 2000 at the
end of 2011 and boy, did we do that. I do encourage you to check the
marriages and if you can add any sources (Bk & p # of marriage) for me
for the ones I have papemortuary.com (incidentally a great site if
you've not used it) or obit for that'd be SUPER and if you'll look at
your names you're researching and can add some for me that too would be
amazing. Thanks all for the help on this project !!
