I have 2 relatives in my family tree (Jarvis) who, according to their
obituaries, are buried in Attica Cemetery. I have been unable to locate a
cemetery by that name. Does anyone know where this cemetery is located or if
it has a different name?
Thanks for any help. I'd like to drive to Fountain County in the near
future.

Looking for any and all information anyone might have on Thomas Birch (son
of Jonathan Birch) and the first pastor of Salem United Methodist Church.
His tombstone at Prescott Cemetery (1821-1890) says, "Erected in memory
of our beloved pastor by the members of Salem M. E. Church." The Fountain
County death records show his death in 1891. One of his sons was a doctor
and later lived in Robinson, Illinois. Apparently, all of the other
children died relatively young.
I am waiting for a call back from the United Methodist Archives at Depauw
University today regarding any information they might have. Does anyone
have any further information on this man?
Thanks,
Tom Dewlen
His middle name was ALexander according to family trees on ancestry.com.
