Does anyone have any info on an Elizabeth Brown born 7/16/1807 in Tennessee? Evidently the family - or at least she - moved to Indiana prior to 1829 where she married Robert Mosier in Orange Co. Sometime prior to 1840 they were living in Attica as they are listed on the census there - also 1850 census. She died 4/24/1858 in Attica & is buried with their daughter in Old Attica Cemetery.
Thanks
Betty

The Michael Waggoner who was born 1780 in Pennsylvania and living in Tippecanoe County is probably him. The census of 1840 shows he was born 1780-1790 and his daughter gives his birthplace as Pennsylvania. Also, his daughter's family later moved to Wayne Township in Tippecanoe Co.
Thanks and I appreciate your help!----ERIC

Eric,
The 1850 Census records shows several Michael Waggoner's either born in Indiana and/or living in Indiana. Since you did not give the birth year or place of Michael.....this is what I found:
Michael Waggoner born 1808 Pa. 1850 Census is living in Harrison, Wayne County, Ind.
Michael Waggoner b.1823 Indiana 1850 Census living in Spiceland, Henry County, Ind.
Michael R. Waggoner b. 1844 Ohio 1850 Census living in Wayne, Wayne County, Ind.
Michael Waggoner b. 1780 Pa. 1850 Census living in Wayne, Tippercanoe County, Ind.
I will be happy to look further if you have more specific info: date of birth, place of birth, who he married etc.
Hope this helps some,
Marsha

Looking for Waggoner (or variation) listed in the census of 1850. Particularly a Michael Waggoner (bcirca 1785) or others who might be related. Michael is listed on the census of 1840 in Davis Twsp. and I have been researching this family.
