I was wondering if anyone out there could do a
marriage lookup for me. I'm looking for record of a
marriage between Isaac "Ike" Ross and Lois Messmore.
I'm not sure if they were married closer to 1868 or
possibly as early as 1860. In 1870 they had a 9 year
old daughter, but their other 2 children were 1 year
old and 1 month old. Possibly the 9 year old is from a
previous marriage for one of them?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Lena

Dear Sharon,
Thank you for your reply. I appreciate your time and effort to respond to my posting. I was wondering if you knew what kind of information I would find if I send a request into the website (Indiana has a site where you can get records) for the record. If it would be helpful in any way and in what ways it might be helpful.
Thank you.

Still looking for information on Absalom Jenkins and family and William Hanley and family in Fountain Co. IN in 1830.
I'm looking for anyone searching for information on
Nelson Morris, or Isaac or Harrison Ross or Lois
Messmore-Ross and family. They all lived in Fountain
County from 1850 on.

Sharon: Thanks so much for the information. I had suspisions only that Lula may have been a Hamer. I have photos of some of the Hamer family taken in Logan, Hocking, Ohio but hadn't been able to tie them to my family. This helps.
You can contact me direct by e-mail at retduck(a)cox.net if any other info surfaces. Thanks again.
