Do you know who William's parents were ? I think it might be Andrew J. Lewsader but not sure. What do you think ?
Hi Donna,
Frank Frances and Effie Mae Keeling Warrick are
buried in Bonebrake Cemetery in Fountain County. I
have some information I can share with you. I will get
some things together and send it to your email address
if that's ok.
I am not a descendant of Frank and Effie, but we
are related. I descend from Effie's brother John.

Dear List,
This may be asking alot, but its worth a try. I am looking for an individual who lives in the Covington, Fountain county area, who knows Prescott Grove cemetery. Due to uncontrollable circumstances, I am unable to travel there myself. I am seeking a photo of the headstone for my GG Aunt: Ida Sarah Bunnell Harris who died July 4, 1887 at the age of 26 and is buried at Prescott Grove cemetery.
The Bunnell family were master stone carvers so the chances are good that she has a headstone.
Anyone who could accomplish this for me or knows of a genealogist for hire would be greatly appreciated and expenses would be paid for your time and effort. Please contact me privately.
Thank you

Does anyone have accesss to a cemetery index? I'm attempting to locate
death/burial information for Jasper N. Barton b. abt 1845 and 3rd wife,
Matilda (Pavey) Ritter Barton b. abt 1851. They were living in Covington at
the time of their marriage in 1901.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thank you,
Gayle Swoik
IL
Diane,
Births and deaths were not recorded in Fountain County until 1887. you
will find most records for births and deaths in Indiana start about the
same time.
Regards,
Tom Hesler

Does anyone have a list of the births in Fountain County around 1863? Does
anyone know if they were recorded anywhere? I am interested in James Twiddy's
parents. He was born in Jan 1863. Thanks Diane
Many thanks to everyone who helped me with the census
lookup request! I didn't find him but will keep looking!

I was wondering if there was anyone out there who
could do a lookup on the 1840 Fountain County Census
for me. Russell Griffin was in Vigo County in 1830
and died sometime in the late 1840's, probably in
Parke County, but he doesn't appear in the 1840 census
in either one of those counties. I know that his
family lived in Reserve Township in Northern Parke
County and several of them were buried there in the
1840's so I suspect he was possibly living in Fountain
County in 1840.
Thanks in advance!
Lena
