Evidently when the 1920 Census listed her as a widow, it was incorrect. Maybe they
separated or he just left or disappeared and went to live with his daughter in Texas
Fairview Cemetery Records Volume IX, pub. by the Southern Indiana Genealogical society
shows:
Jessie A. McWilliams, #21831; 80 yrs; res. Houston, TX; d. 4 June, 1937, bur 7 Jun 1937;
in lot owned by Jesse A. McWILLIAMS. Cause of death was hypertension.

The body of Jesse A. McWILLIAMS, 80, formerly of New Albany, will arrive here Saturday
from Houston, Texas, where he died Thursday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Mabel MILLER.
The body will be taken to Dieckmann's Chapel, 615 Vincennes St., where funeral
services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in Fairfview Cemetery. Surviving
also are his wife, Mrs. Sarah McWILLIAMS; two sons, C. Thomas, Indianapolis, and James
Albert, Independence, Mo.; another daughter, Mrs. Margaret STRIEGEL, Louisville; a
brother, George, Taswell, Ind., and two sisters, Miss Jane McWILLIAMS, also of Taswell,
and Mrs. Fannie TILLERY, French Lick, Ind. He was a member of the New Albany Lodge of
Masons.
