NADL 8 Feb 1870, Tuesday, p2 c2: Sudden Death on an Old Citizen. Mr. James W. Webb, for
over thirty years a citizen of Orleans, Orange County, and a well known business man of
that town died suddenly at his home at 8 o'clock last night. . . His son, who is
employed in the wholesale house of W. S. Culbertson & Son, left for Orleans on the
train this morning to attend the funeral.-----
Public Press 24 Jun 1902 p5 c3: Public Personals - Constable John Webb is on his way to
England to visit relatives and friends. He will be gone about eight weeks.
NADLS 24 Jun 1878 p4 c3: Mrs. John R. Webb, died at her residence yesterday and will be
buried tomorrow. Mrs. W. has been suffering for a long time, but was thought a few days
ago to be improving. She had many friends among whom she will be greatly missed. Her
bereaved husband has the sympathy of the community in his sad affliction. -----
New Albany Daily Ledger, Wednesday 3 Aug 1870 p2 c1; Died of Lockjaw-John T. Webb, the man
whose leg was injured by the saw in the New Albany Rolling Mill last week, died this
morning, lockjaw having supervened. He suffered terrible before death came to his relief.
