Description: Learn procedures for conducting an oral history with
special emphasis on the Library of Congress Veteran’s History Project
Who should attend: Veterans, families of veterans, history teachers,
students, and those interested in oral histories
SgtMaj Ronald Burkhart, USMC Ret. has been doing genealogy for over 25
years and was in the Marine Corps for 28 years. Since beginning work on
the Veteran’s Oral History Project, he has interviewed over 100 veterans.
He is a member of the Indiana Society, Sons of the American Revolution.
