Hello,
I do not live in New Albany but I have done research on my ancestors that lived in New
Albany. I have found the New Albany Public Library, Indiana Room, to be very helpful.
You can look up index information from the New Albany Ledger and request copies. They are
very helpful and I highly recommend their services. And their rates are relatively
inexpensive. If no RAOGK responds, please check out their website:

If you have any questions or problems accessing their site, please let me know.

Is there anyone in New Albany who would be willing to get a copy of
an
obituary for me? I have "notes" that an obituary for Elizabeth (nee' KING)
SINEX was published in the New Albany Daily Ledger December 26, 1919 page 1
column 7 AND also December 30, 1919 page 2 column 3. I would prefer a copy
rather than a transcript. Also where do I write for a copy of her
certificate of death? Please write me for costs etc. at waughtel(a)oz.net if
you are able to do this for me.
Thank you.
Antoinette (Tacoma, Washington)
