Tobias,
Yes, I have info about First Nations and I've visited the land where the Clarks lived
near New Albany, IN. I have pages of data, that's why I asked you to contact me
directly. It's far too much to post here. Although rumors abide about Native American,
I've found no evidence of it thus far. I know who Cassandra's Clark parents were
and who her Clark grandfather was. The grandmother's name is not known. They migrated
from VA to KY to IN.
I remember D.M. from when I was young and lived in Rushville. I am still in contact with
his son Wayne. I descend from Samuel's son James [not nicknamed Roscoe; Roscoe had the
original photo] and Belle through their son Clarence Arthur "Dick". That's
how I dated the photo. James' son James Leslie "Pete" was b 1885 and Dora
Ella "El" was b 1888. Pete appears to be about 3-4 in the photo and El looks
1-2. Thus, my guess is it was taken between 1889-1891.
My list for the photo is:
Mariah with daughter Lizzie b 1884
Samuel H
Elizabeth Clorinda "Julie"
John
Mae [the child; I don't have a Mae unless she's Eva Mae]
John's 2nd wife, who I believe to be Virginia Pierson
Samuel B.

I'm willing to share everything I have with you, and would love to have more data on
your family line. I began this research when my mother died in 1996 to attempt to sort out
the Tomlinsons I grew up calling aunt & uncle, but whom I knew were not. I wanted to
learn how we truly were related. From there my project grew like Topsy!
