Do you have a John Green Ferrel born about 1834 Indiana as a son of your
Clemens Green Ferrel? Did Clemens own and operate a flour and grist mill
during the Civil War?
I have a Clemons Green Ferrel born about 1811 KY and died 19 March 1877
age 65 years 9 months and 23 days in Fremont County, Iowa. He was buried
in the Chambers (also known as Singleton) Cemetery, Prairie Twp, Fremont
Co, Iowa. His third wife Sally G Cox Ferrel b. 20 October 1822 and died
24 January 1897 is also buried there. I have his children as:
1. John Green Ferrel b. about 1835 Indiana md. Bethany Harless 1854 Iowa
and died November 1879 Iowa. (this is my family)
2. Sarah Jane Ferrel b. about 1836 or 1842 Indiana (Floyd Co.) md. T.J.
Wilson 3 December 1875 and died 17 December 1911.
3. George Washinton Ferrel b. 28 August 1839 Indiana md. 21 August 1858
Serilda Niday died 1 November 1925.
4. Clemons Green Ferrel b. 1 May 1857 Wayne Co, Iowa md. 18 November 1877
Susan C. Knight died 20 May 1933.
5. Caroline Ferrel b. about 1846 Indiana.
6. Thomas J. Ferrel b. about 1848 Indiana
7. Malinda M. Ferrel b. about 1849 Indiana
8. Nancy E. Ferrel b. about 1854 Iowa
