Mrs. W. A. Renshaw Dies Thursday
Mrs. Edith V. Renshaw, 43, wife of William A. Renshaw, died at 11 p.m. Thursday at her
home, 1625 Indiana. Also she is survived by a daughter, Miss Ruth Ann Renshaw, and two
brothers, Marcus Enochs, New Albany, and Lester Enochs, Peoria, Ill. The body is at the
Kraft Funeral Home.

William A. Renshaw
William A. (Bud) Renshaw, 52, died Saturday evening at Floyd County Memorial Hospital
after an illness of three weeks. A native of New Albany, he lived at 1625 Indiana Ave. He
had been in the insurance business in New Albany for 30 years. Renshaw, was a former
amateur baseball player and manager. Renshaw was a member of the Hutchinson Presbyterian
Church, and was a deacon of the church. He was a member of Pythagoras Lodge F & AM and
the White Shrine of Judea.
Survivors include his wife, Nora, a daughter Mrs. Philip Corraco, and his parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Jesse Renshaw, all of New Albany, two brothers, Robert, New Albany, and Sgt. Jesse
Renshaw, Ft. Riley, Kans., and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Dieckmann and & Naville Oak
Street Funeral Home, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.

In the 1910 census Minnie, Edith's mother, states she had 5 children/4 children
living. Posted on
Ancestry.com the children listed were: Joseph Clemmons, Marcus Earl,
Edith Violet, Lester Marlen & Ruth Annette.
RE: Lester M. Enoch
In 1947 he is said to be living in Peoria, Illinois according to Edith's obit. After
that, I found no info on him, not even a Social Security Death.
