It is possible to visit the cemetery upon obtaining permission of the
property owner.
The Property owner of the CRISWELL, The correct name for the
cemetery, AKA Cole-Palmer (Criswell bought the property from Jacob Yanowine in
1816) (The Coles and Palmers came at later dates,) is a Mrs. O'Brien. She is 87
years old and will call the Sheriff or maybe take a shot at you if you don't
stop at the Bedford Stone house, knock on the door and step back and identify
yourself, and ask permission to visit the cemetery. You will have to walk back
(If she says it's ok) it is about 300-400 feet straight back behind the house in
a wooded area in the field. (She is really a very nice lady, but is very
cautious, living by her self) The dogs don't bite ???
