Surname: WILKINSON, BULLARD, PLUMER, HUTCHINGS, GULLETT, ROGERS
-------------------------
David WILKINSON (b. 1798 PA) and wife Catherine (b. ca. 1802 OH) came to
the city of New Albany in Floyd Co., IN, ca. 1830-1832. In 1850, David
was a shoemaker and the census enumerator, and in 1860, he was the assessor.
David's extensive lineage can be accessed from my home page through the
link to my WILKINSON / RUTHERFORD Family File.
Dau. Mary Ann WILKINSON (b. ca. 1827 OH) md. Albert BULLARD in 1847. In
1850, Albert was in Calif. "digging gold" while his wife and first child
stayed behind with her parents in Floyd Co. In 1860 and 1870, Albert was
a sawyer, miller, and farmer in Georgetown Twp. They had 2 known children,
Emma and William.
Dau. Sarah WILKINSON (b. ca. 1830 OH or IN) md. William B. PLUMER in 1852.
Their dau. Clara S. PLUMER md. John HUTCHINGS in 1872, and Clara died in
New Albany in 1883.
Son L.R. WILKINSON (b. ca. 1834 IN) was a "finisher" working, I assume,
in his father's shoe shop, but nothing further is known about him.
Dau. Helen WILKINSON (b. ca. 1841 IN) md. Madison GULLETT in 1858, and
had a son, William, b. ca. 1859. Madison apparently d. before June 1, 1860.
Helen md. 2) Jacob ROGERS in 1865.
Any information on these families will be gratefully received.
