Dear Laura and Listers,
There used to be a circuit rider evangelist in KY. called "Ham the
Evangelist." He made a living out of it and was the right age to be the son
of the Ham in your email. He was a cousin of a cousin. He wasn't
especially notable except that I heard he had a huge influence on a young
man named Billy Graham.
And then there was a Muir Kenney of New Albany who may have been in the
Frank Muir family. I think he was an early gag writer for Bob Hope.
Tom

Searching for information on my gr-grandmother, Mary Frances HAM, nee
BERRY, b. 18
January 1878. Married James Robert HAM in Clark County,
Indiana on 11 January 1900. James Robert was a circuit rider preacher. He
and Mary lived much of their time in New Albany, Indiana though. James
Robert and Mary divorced in 1912/1913. Mary then married Frank MUIR in
Floyd County on 28 June 1913. Mary died in New Albany on 31 October 1917.
Would appreciate obit look-up for Mary Frances MUIR, nee BERRY ( 31
October 1917).
Would also appreciate marriage announcement from newspaper
for both marriages.
Thank you,
Laura Rees
