Application for License
To the Citizens of Georgetown Township, Floyd County, Indiana:
Notice is hereby given that the undersigned will apply to the Board of
Commissioners of Floyd county, Indiana, at their next regular session, June,
1900, for a license to retail intoxicating, spirituous, vinous and malt
liquors
in a less quantity than a quart at a time, with the privilege of allowing
the
same to be drank on the premises where sold. The building is a one story
frame and the saloon is in the rear part of the front room, 16x38 feet in
size,
in said building, which has a glass front with curtains that can be so
adjusted
as to give a full view of the saloon on days required by law, and fronts on
the
public road between Edwardsville and Georgetown. He disires to also
conduct a grocery business in the same building. His place of business is
located as follows: On a lot in the northwest corner of the south west
quarter
of section 33, township 2, range 5 east, and bounded as follows: Beginning
65
feet west of the northwest corner of the tract of land deeded to Mary A.
Engleman by Deborah Summers, Jesse Summers and Mary E. Summers,
his wife, running south 240 feet, thence west 70 feet, thence north 240
feet,
thence east 70 feet, to the place of beginning in Georgetown township, Floyd
