Lena,
Last night I tried pulling the 1850 IN census page that shows David Eddings,
but the loading was very slow. I thought it would be better if you could do
it yourself. That census is in the FamilyTreeMaker Genealogy Library, and
here is how you get to it:
1) Go to:
http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/_glc_/
2) When the main page comes up, scroll down until you see "Records (938)" in
red lettering in the right column. Click on that.
3) When the next page comes up, scroll down until you see "Census Records
(328)" and, below that, "IN (8)". Click on "IN (8)".
4) A page listing the 8 censuses for IN comes up. Click on "1850 IN Census
Index".
5.) You will go to the first page of the book. When you get there, click on
"Search Book"
6.) Enter David's full name and begin your search. The first result you
will see will be "1850 IN Census Index, p. 691". Click on that, and another
page will come up. Scroll down until you find David's name. When you get
there, click on the little camera to the far right of his name. Then wait
while the actual census page loads to your screen. If you don't see an entry
for David on the page, scroll back up and select "Page 2 of 2".
Good luck.
