I had also thought perhaps the 1938 could have been a typo and should have been 1908. I
got a reply from my friend who is going to do some additional research on the death date
and let me know. Of course, the death certificate will be the answer for sure. If I
find out any thing, I will let you know and if you get info, I would appreciate knowing.
I noticed the Catherine in the 1910 census and decided that it was Sarah K. the K being
for Katherine. When I was checking the 1880 census, I was using the Family Search website
and it was down for maintenance, so I was not able to check it for the Baxter family. So
I was able to add Effie and Nannie to my list from your information. There is almost a
five year span between Effie and Roy so perhaps one is missing there. I subscribe to
ancestry.com but I find I prefer my library card access to Heritage Quest which has most
of census records except 1880. If any thing new comes up, I'll let you know.
