I don't know about Peter's middle name. Not only was Daniel's father named Peter but his grandfather & ggrandfather, also. I have never seen a middle name for any of them. Peter & Mary Wicks Stoy came to Indiana from Pennsylvania in 1818. Are you related to a Peter Stoy?

I suggest that you take a look at Shenandoah, Rockingham, and Augusta Counties in Virginia for your Sillings. There were several families, including mine, that migrated from these Shenandoah Valley counties to Floyd, Clark, and Harrison Counties in the 1810 to 1820 time frame.

Lamb, a contractor of Grand Island, Neb., was killed by a railroad train at
that place. He formerly lived at New Albany. He was eighth-three years of

I know Tom Caron Sr. He is my brother. Walter Veron is our grandfather he was born in New Albany, Indiana on May 10, 1890. He has someone in his past with the name of August. He moved to Mankato, Minnesota as an adult. Do you know anything about him.
I looked in the Birth Records, both city and county. I found only one Clark
listed but it is not exactly the same dates and different parents.
