Does anyone out there have access to the 1850 census
for Floyd County? I have a David Eddings marrying an
Eliza Rusk in Floyd County in 1842. I am pretty sure
they were in Floyd County in 1850 because they had a
daughter born there in 1853. Their children at the
time would have been William, Sylvester, and Mary. I
just want to confirm that they were living there and
that the ages that I have from the 1860 census in
Harrison County line up.
Any information you could give me would be much
appreciated.
Thank you!
Lena

Surname: McHarry
-------------------------
Thank you, but I should mention that NOBODY was placed in my ggg father's
tomb in a vertical position. This is utter baloney, as well as the legends
about a curse. The inscription still remains above the door, enjoining
keeping the sabbath day holy. The crypts have been pretty thoroughly vandalized
now, but were largely intact when I first visited nearly thirty years ago,
and they were all very conventional.
