I found an obit for a 1/2 brother of my wife's Grandmother. His name
is Michael Burger and he was married to Wilma Roberts the daughter of
William Roberts.
Mike was Born and Died in New Albany, the son of Jacob Burger and
Mary Jane Obrien.
in the obit it states "Last Rites set for Thursday". I know from
growing up Catholic that this is a Catholic Sacrament. My question is
do other religions such as Lutheran, and Episcopalian offer last
rites? Can I use this to narrow his religion to try to find church
records?

If anyone has access to birth records for Floyd Co would you please look
her up for me? Her parents were Henry and Mattie Leach Trueman. Mattie's
parents lived in New Albany, so Elizabeth might have been born there. TIA
