Exactly! I'm thinking for questions like (I'm sure you get these too) where
is such-n-such town/city, where can I find vital records, etc. - questions
specific to each county would be great on the list. They definitely don't
"fit" on the query pages. What I've been doing when I get those is to
figure out some solution to their problem (the best I can) and answer
directly. But, geez-o-pete, I really don't know THAT much about Noble Co.
There's been instances where I've made long distance phone calls, gone to
the library, enlisted help from Noble residents - anything I can do to get
them an answer. The forum would eliminate all that (I'd hope!). But you
just can't beat the indexing with CCHelper/Central, so. . .

Judy,
I agree with you. I think some people will love the interactivity
of the new query system, but some people may prefer the CCHelper method.
The CCH queries will definitely be better indexed both on your site and at
CCH/Central. Some items on the new system won't be suitable for the
queries, but simply comments about another posting. I've just spent the
morning adding over 100 Miami Co. Queries to CCH, so I am a holdout on that
also. I would rather do the query system than to sponsor a list. It has
great possibilities. Maybe people won't be so dependant on you and your
knowledge and/or opinion to get information about your county(ies).
