Hi all,
We haven't added the new pages to our two counties yet, but I'm a bit
concerned about something that I haven't seen mentioned.
Did I miss it or is the poster's e-mail address missing from the displayed
queries?
The e-mail is entered along with the poster's name, but I wasn't seeing
where it was displayed. I don't know if you all have had the same
experience, but here in KS we've found that many are printing out queries
posted to the county pages and sharing them with their friends at the
genealogy societies that are not online. Printed queries will be of no
benefit without an e-mail contact. Our feedback is that those offline and
finding something of interest seek out an online friend to make the initial
contact.
Just curious how the rest of you feel. We show both the poster's name and
e-mail address on our manual constructed pages so that printing a query
prints both name and address.
